Shanna is a development executive at Carnival Films with a decade of development experience across film and television. She has previously worked at Hammer Films, Vertigo Films and Imaginarium Productions across a diverse range of productions.
Looking for… contemporary, returnable series currently, but I’m open to any genre so long as it has a clear idea of its audience. It can feel like you’ve seen or read everything before, especially at a time when we’re so oversaturated with content. For me, a show needs to stand out in some way to break through – whether that’s bold storytelling, a unique character perspective or an eye-catching concept or twist. I love stories that provoke conversation and debate, and maybe even change the way we see the world.
