It’s simple: £5 in the pot, 45 seconds at the mic, and a panel of industry heavyweights ready to judge your story. Winner takes ALL!
Can you deliver under pressure? Can you captivate a room in less time than it takes to make a cup of tea?
Past winners have proven that when the clock is ticking, magic happens. Just ask two-time champion Tom Kerevan, who discovered that sometimes the best pitches are born in the pressure cooker of last-minute cuts and rapid-fire adjustments. It’s not just about winning the pot – it’s about mastering the art of the ultra-tight pitch that could save your story in any real-world situation.
Think you’ve got what it takes? Here’s what you need to know:
- Open to ALL festival attendees
- £5 entry fee (goes straight into the prize pot)
- 45 seconds to sell your story
- Live feedback from industry professionals
- One winner takes home the entire pot
Whether you’re pitching or watching from the crowd, you’ll witness the raw excitement of stories fighting for survival and learn invaluable lessons about what makes a pitch pop when every second counts.
Remember: In this game, brevity isn’t just the soul of wit – it’s the path to victory. Come ready to pitch, cheer, and maybe even take home the prize pot!
Time limit will be strictly enforced. No refunds. May cause excessive adrenaline rushes and spontaneous bursts of creative brilliance.
